This is a true story. I will present it in parts as it takes shape. It is perhaps a continuation of another story. In the 1980s and '90s I stood four times in General Elections as The Feudal Party. My platform was on environmental and moral issues.

I stood in the Withington Constituency of Manchester twice and twice in nearby Tatton. When Martin Bell was brought in to take on Neil (and Christine) Hamilton, against whom I had stood twice, I decided to stand down. I did this although I thought that my work in opposition to the building of a second runway at Manchester Airport had given me quite a high profile and might have made my candidature electorally significant.

I did not particularly want to play the General Election game again. But my work with English poetry brought me to the point of setting out to form this vehicle to focus and carry my various concerns.

The story so far I have split into the following five Parts, please click on Parts 1 to 5 to read the full story.
